Surface Preparation:
- Clean and dry the concrete surface.
- Make the surface flat and smooth.
Primer Application:
- Ensure the pool floor is fully ground, cleaned, and dry for proper primer adhesion.
- Pour component B into component A and stir for 2-3 minutes with an electric stirrer.
- Apply one layer of the primer to the pool floor.
- After the primer dries, repair/fill any surface cracks and ensure a flat surface for proper application. Use Epoxy Putty or other methods to fill cracks.
Mixing Product Components:
- Before mixing, mechanically stir component A.
- Mix components A & B for 1-2 minutes using a low-speed electric stirrer. Make sure to reach the bottom and sides for even distribution, and let it sit for 2-3 minutes.
Note: The mixed components have a limited pot life. Apply quickly to avoid hardening.
Product Application:
- Pour the entire mixture around the pool section to be treated.
- Use a pre-dipped roller to apply one layer to the entire surface.
- Wait 4 hours, then apply the second layer.
- Allow up to 24 hours for full curing before filling the swimming pool with water.
Special Notes:
- Don't apply Neodur FT Elastic in wet conditions or during rainy weather.
- Store components at moderate temperatures, and mix in the shade with a mechanical stirrer.
- Avoid over-stirring to prevent air bubbles.
- Ensure the pool's temperature is at least 3°C above the dew point.
- Apply the product sufficiently on vertical surfaces for a uniform waterproofing membrane.
Always follow these steps carefully for a successful DIY application in your swimming pool. Refer to the technical datasheet for more information.
