LAMAFLEX is a high-performance torch-applied waterproofing membrane, enhanced with Styrene Butadiene Styrene (SBS) for exceptional flexibility, particularly in cold climates. The membrane is reinforced with non-woven, spun-bonded polyester, providing added strength and resistance to aging, punctures, and rotting. The lower surface features a burn-off polyethylene film for easy installation, while the upper surface is covered with mineral granules for UV protection and enhanced aesthetics. LAMAFLEX is designed to be the top layer in multi-layer roofing systems, offering long-term protection against the elements.

Application of LAMAFLEX Cap Sheet

  1. Lay out the LAMAFLEX roll on the substrate with the burn-off film facing down.
  2. Use a propane torch to melt the polyethylene film and a thin layer of bitumen.
  3. Unroll and apply the membrane, ensuring full adhesion to the substrate.
  4. Overlap adjacent rolls by 100 mm at the sides and 150 mm at the ends.
  5. The membrane can be installed as a loose-lay, partially bonded, or fully bonded system, depending on the project specifications.
