Applications and Proportions:
1. Plasters (e.g., cement, sand, lime, water, and fiberglass mesh):
- Mix 1-3 kg of Revinex (water-based primer) with 50 kg of cement.
- Alternatively, use 5-10% Revinex by weight of cement for finishing plaster.
- Suitable for durable and water-resistant plasters.
2. Cement Mortars & Screeds (e.g., cement, sand, water):
- Mix 3-10 kg of Revinex with 50 kg of cement.
- Ideal for creating slopes, smoothing, leveling, coving, grouting, tiling, etc.
3. Bonding Slurry (e.g., cement, sand, water):
- Mix 1 part cement, 1 part sand (0-2mm), 0.5-1 part Revinex, and add water as needed.
- Use for bonding between old and new concrete or cement-based mortars.
4. Brushable Cementitious Waterproofing Systems:
- Mix 3-5 kg of Revinex with 25 kg of waterproofing mortar.
- Suitable for waterproofing basements, walls, tanks, swimming pools, etc., with increased resistance to hydrostatic pressure.
5. Cementitious Repairing Mortars:
- Mix 1-2 kg of Revinex with 25 kg of cementitious repairing mortar.
- Use for repairing worn or damaged parts of concrete elements.
6. Industrial Floors (e.g., cement, sand, gravel, Revinex, water, PP fibers):
- Mix 5-10 kg of Revinex with 50 kg of cement.
- Ideal for high mechanical and chemical resistance floors, such as those in parking garages, laboratories, etc.
7. Tile Adhesives (adhesive, Revinex, water):
- Mix 1-2 kg of Revinex with 25 kg of tile adhesive.
- Suitable for fixing tiles, especially in areas with high humidity.
8. Primer for Water-Based Waterproofing Coatings and Paints (Revinex, water):
- Mix 1 part Revinex with 3-4 parts of water.
- Consumption of Revinex: 40-50 grams per square meter in one layer as a primer on a cementitious surface (diluted with water 1:4).
- Use to improve adhesion of water-based waterproofing coatings, paints, and cementitious waterproofing systems.
Special Notes:
- The proportions of Revinex, cement, and sand depend on the substrate, application type, and required properties.
- Ensure that the cement is fresh, cool, and lump-free, and the sand is well-washed and free of soil and salts.
Follow these guidelines to effectively use water-based primer for various applications.
